The following are our guild rules. They are mostly basic
common sense and courtesy, and if you are unable (or unwilling) to follow them
then you probably do not belong within our Guild. Our #1 goal is to have fun
and to help each other grow and enjoy the game as much as possible, but without
some basic rules, there is often chaos.
1) Activity:
HH measures activity through contribution to
the maintenance of guild structures. No matter what you prefer to do within the
game, your guild activity is measured through your gold contribution. Please
look up the contributions
page for the weekly target at your level. You may either let your hunting
tax, guild deposit, or trade with a guild founder serve as your contribution.
2) Courtesy and Guild Etiquette:
a) DO NOT EVER demand anything of guild mates.
b) Be prepared to join groups immediately as they are formed. Do not form a group just so you have one on "standby." It is a waste of members’ stamina to do so. Form them only as you need them.
d) The guild comes first; begging for gold, items, or FSP will immediately get you removed from the guild.
e) If you ever decide to leave the guild or get kicked for inactivity, you can only come back to the guild if every member of HH wants you back.
f) In HH, we make major decisions through discussion and voting on the forum. This is how you can have a say in the way our guild is run. Be active there, or live with the decision.
3)
Buffs:
In HH, we share our buffs freely. However, there are some requirements attached to this perk.
a) List all your own buffs in your bio. The level to list is your skill points +25. If you do not list your own skills, you may not receive buffs from other guild members. (because…)
b) Please do not ask for buffs that you can cast on yourself. Instead, cast your own buffs first, then ask for others’. Everybody is trying to gain new levels, and stamina is important to everybody. It is a waste of a buffer’s stamina to give you something that you can give yourself. Repeat offenses of this rule will result in disciplinary action, including loss of personal rank.
c) Do not ask for buffs when you have low stamina. You should be within 10% of your max when you ask.
d) Unless you are two-hitting creatures or have over 1,000 stamina, a conserve buff or potion of acceleration is a waste.
e) When you get buffed, it is rude to show no appreciation…say “Thank You!”
4) Guild Gear (Equipment):
a) If you donate items to the guild, expect that everybody will share them. The guild appreciates your donation, but once it is donated, it becomes guild property, and will be used for the benefit of the entire guild, permanently.
b) Guild items are not your property, even if you were the one that donated it. If you borrow guild equipment for hunting, do not be surprised if it later gets recalled. If you send nasty messages to members or complain in chat, you will be immediately removed from the Guild, as here, we share. DO NOT put anything in your profile about guild members being unable to recall your guild tagged equipment from you.
c) If you are recalling gear, recall items that are not being used. If this is not possible, recall only from players that are offline, and then from the person with the least gold on-hand. DO NOT take all the equipment from one single player, as they will be left completely defenseless.
d) The above said – it is the responsibility of ALL guild members to use an offline defensive set. The guild does not maintain defensive gear, but it is easily obtained either through combat drops or through the Auction House. Further, the guild PVP expert can advise about defensive gear and help to obtain it. If you are defenseless and become a liability to the guild (either through GvG contests or as a result of being attacked), you are subject to be kicked at the founders’ discretion. Offline gear can be temporarily stored in the Guild Store, while you hunt, if you are short of personal backpack space.
e) If you use Guild
tagged equipment please repair before returning it. It is most annoying and
unfair to recall equipment and have to repair it before you can use it.
5) Guild Store:
a) The guild has a
limited number of slots available. We need to effectively manage those slots so
that all can enjoy the guild equipment. In general, the GS slots should be kept
free so guild-tagged items can be recalled, and hunting members can store their
offline gear there.
b) Personal gear does
not belong in the Guild Store. The exception for this is offline gear, and then
only while you are hunting. If you wish to donate items to the guild, first
check with the Guild Equipment Specialist, who will decide whether the guild
needs it, and who will coordinate the donation. If you wish to allow others to
use your gear, announce it in chat. Simply storing it in the GS is not an
option. Regardless, if you leave your items for longer than an hour or two, do
not be surprised when they are removed or destroyed.
c) When you get a drop from a group attack, take the item out of the guild store immediately. If you wish to donate the item to the guild, see above
d) Do not ever use the last spot in the guild store. If a group attack is successful in getting a drop, and there are no guild store spaces left, then we will not get the drop. If you are leading a group attack against a creature, be certain that there is at least one free spot in the guild store.
